Gosford vs Terrigal | Round 13

Gosford Showground

Third Grade

"The difference between the two sides on the weekend came down to the first 20 minutes. Terrigal moved to a 21-0 lead at the break which put Gosford on their heels. However, a resurgent side crawled its way back to make it 21-12 to make things interesting. However, a few unlucky calls and lack of attention to detail cost 3’s any chance of a comeback. A spirited second half but another tough loss" - Aaron Crofts

Second Grade | 25 - 14 Gosford

"Seconds had solid win over Terrigal at home winning 25-14. Conceding early points is becoming a habit for 2s, and Terrigal started strongly and retained the ball well for the first 20 minutes putting us under a lot of pressure. When we finally got some possession and played better field position we were able to apply some pressure of our own and turn them into points. A solid second half allowed us to extend our lead with a good overall team performance." - Mose

First Grade | 43 - 12 Terrigal

"1st grade came up against a very good Terrigal outfit. Due to a current injury crisis at Gosford several of the boys had to play two games which was a remarkable effort against such a strong side. The first 30 minutes was extremely tight and the teams were locked at one try a piece. Terrigal dominated the last 10 minutes of the half and scored three tries in quick succession. This proved to be the big difference in the game. Congratulations to Terrigal on a good win and to the Gosford boys for digging deep. We will keep improving and will push hard to beat Woy Woy next week." - Jackson Steinbeck
