Gosford vs Woy Woy

Gosford Showground

Saturday 6th April 2019

Third Grade

"Going into 3rd grade, we had 15 players but quickly went down the 12 players just before half time. Despite this all the boys put in a massive effort which resulted in 2 great team tries. Congratulations to Blake Taylor and Josh Walker on your Grade debuts and Sam Wilkinson and Michael Plant on your Club debut." - Chris Heap Third Grade Captain

Second Grade

"Tough conditions first up but we defended our way to victory. It’s always to good to start the season off with a with a win and we look forward to a grand final repeat this weekend. 3 points- Shark 2 points- Lacey 1 point- Tappas Congratulations to Tappas for his outstanding grade debut and thanks to Shay and Shark for helping out 3’s as much as they could and to the 3’s players that stood by for us." - Nick Cash Second Grade Captain

First Grade

"1st grade got their season off to a brilliant start by beating last year semi finalists Woy Woy. Gosford dominated the full 80 minutes and on a dry field the score could’ve blown out. Gosford forwards were dominant and their silky passing was extremely impressive. The backs had some very impressive moments but also pushed a few too many passes. Looks like 2019 will be very different than 2018 for 1st grade." - Jackson Steinbeck First Grade Captain
