"Some good news for the u17 competition is that Terrigal have merged with Woy Woy and in the process recruited some very good players. This recruiting resulted in a very touch physical game on Friday night in what was extremely cold conditions.

The young Devils struggles to maintain possession of the ball at critical times during the game. What was impressive was our ability to defend an extremely fast and agile Terrigal back line and the meters we gained when we had the ball. We just need to maintain the ball for longer.

Final score: Gosford 20 - Terrigal 29

Best on the park was Luke, Jameel and Jonah." - Steve Keiler

u7's | "Unfortunately we were lacking numbers this week, so those remaining had to work hard against a very speedy Woy Woy team. Very impressive effort from them all with their line speed and ball carries. Sophie secured our player of the day with her best game yet, a brilliant effort all cross the paddock." - Karl Verhoef

u8's | "The mighty under 8s played Northlakes again this week but at least it was at home. We were without a 3 of our superstars (which only left 11 others) Nat is overseas, Noah begrudgingly sidelined by injury and Ethan showing great club and brotherly spirit helped out the Under 9s.  Jack and Saint were devastating in attack and defence - the boys bruising cover tackles and jinking offloads ensured they more than done their share in a terrific team performance that seen them home 12-4. Well done devils!" - Tony Willis

u9's | "The under 9s were playing against a well drilled Terrigal today and boy it was a tough day at the office! However, Gosford responded well with amazing clearing out and phenomenal supporting play. Gosford also had a number of break away tries after beating two or more tackles in quick succession! All in all, a very exciting game to watch." - Thomas Finn
