u8's vs Terrigal | "Another tough game against Terrigal for the 8s and they responded in kind with dominant defence and terrific teamwork. Jayden made tackles, runs  & turnovers. While his fellow big bopper Manoa cleaned out, cleaned up and charged through the line. A 7-3 scoreline was a good reflection of the fantastic team effort from the little Devils, who then joined the 9s to clap on the 11s - great club spirit all-round! 😈" - Tatts

U9's vs Ourimbah | "Up against Ourimbah this week with a few players down. The under 8’s graciously allowed us to borrow two players today to even the numbers. A special shout out to Charlie and Ethan for helping us out today. Ethan has also helped us out over the last few weeks, which has been fantastic.

As the year is progressing, the team is developing. This has been particularly evident in the confidence and style of tackles. Starting from more of a push or a bear hug, progressing to massive tackles that drive the opposition back. This has been great to see as it not only means that the team is driving forward in defence, but it is also more fun then being having the opposition run around you.

Something else that is interesting is that the players are naturally drifting to positions that they prefer. Even though they are in the under 9s, this is going to be great for next year as positional play will be much more important. I am looking forward to seeing the team develop over the remaining weeks of this year’s season." - Thomas Finn

U11's vs Warnervale | "Gosford 36 ( Dylan Witcher 2, Zane Cash 2,Lucas Stupniker, Oberon Huntley tries, Zane Cash 3 conversions) Warnervale 15.

The under 11’s played some good running rugby against the wildcats with Zane Cash organizing our attack and allowing our backs to run freely, Dylan Witcher was again very strong in both attack and defence crossing for two tries.

Our focus this week was to dominate the ruck and work hard on our defence, with a big focus on our pillar and post defensive structure and our clean out. Josh Hawkins was strong over the ball at the breakdown and work hard in defence earning the three points. Xander Leech once again was impressive in attack and defence earning two points with Logan Spinks and Gabe Mitchell earning a point each for improved games.

The boys keep improving each week and makes it extremely difficult to give points which is a great headache to have as coaches. A big thank you to Andrew Moseley for attending our training session this week and working with the boys, it is very much appreciated." - Mal Spinks
